Tasting Note
Viognier with all the perfume and none of the heaviness. Exotic stone fruit and honeysuckle on the nose, rich and generous in the mouth, but refreshingly dry on the finish thanks to its cool coastal origins. A brilliant step up from everyday Chardonnay.
Drink it with: seafood pasta, or any shellfish.
The Winemaking
The team taste the grapes through August to pick the perfect day, then harvest at dawn. A short skin-contact maceration builds aroma before gentle pressing, settling and a cool fermentation. No oak.
The Vineyards
Old vines in cool coastal vineyards around the Étang de Thau lagoon, where the maritime influence keeps freshness and allows slow, balanced ripening.
The Producer
Terres Fidèles makes small-batch wines from old vines across south-west France, from the Pyrenees foothills to the Mediterranean coast, working with growers who respect their land.
