ILatium Morini, Valpolicella DOC

£17.00

Tasting Note

Bright ruby, with an aromatic nose of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Soft, warm and dry, with elegant, well-balanced tannins. Valpolicella the way it should be: fresh and moreish.

Drink it with: salami, semi-aged cheeses, pasta or risotto.

The Winemaking

Destemmed, pressed and fermented for 10–15 days with pump-overs and délestage. Matured in stainless steel, with no oak.

The Vineyards

Certified organic Corvina and Corvinone, picked into small bins from late September to early October.

The Producer

ILatium Morini is a family affair: seven brothers and cousins who, in 2004, stopped selling their best grapes and started bottling their own. They're part of a new wave in Valpolicella and Soave, pairing concentrated fruit with real freshness.
