Tasting Note
Soft, juicy Grenache that's impossible not to like. Bright red with purple glints, violets and red fruit on the nose, then raspberry and plum on a medium-bodied, smooth palate. Unoaked, so it's all about the fruit. An easy-going red for any night of the week.
Drink it with: tomato-based pasta, or Thai and other Asian dishes.
The Winemaking
Destemmed, with some grapes warm-macerated for colour and others fermented cool for fresh fruit. Gentle pump-overs keep the tannins soft, then the parcels are blended and aged in stainless steel. No oak.

20-year-old vines on clay-limestone plains and foothills between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, where Mediterranean and Atlantic influences meet.

Felicette is part of Terres Fidèles, a small-batch, old-vine project across south-west France led by Fergal Tynan MW, working with growers who respect their land.
