Tasting Note
Bright gold, balancing delicacy and pungency. Fresh and lively, with umami depth, a hint of polish and a long, appetising finish.
Drink it with: simply grilled fresh fish, or fish and chips.
The Winemaking
The 2018 Florpower (La Bota 97) fortified into a Manzanilla and aged three years under flor, with no solera, before bottling in 2022.
The Vineyards
Old Palomino vines at Miraflores in Sanlúcar, on chalky albariza soils.
The Producer
Equipo Navazos is a group of friends who began by finding and bottling forgotten casks from the bodegas of Jerez, Sanlúcar, El Puerto and Montilla as numbered La Bota releases. Today they focus more on their own wines, such as Florpower.
