Tasting Note
Southern Rhône white from one of Ventoux's very best estates, and a real bargain. Pale and bright, with white peach, pear and citrus zest, honeysuckle and acacia, a mineral edge and a touch of spice. Clean and medium-bodied, with lively acidity and a smooth, slightly creamy texture.
Drink it with: a creamy risotto, fresh goat's cheese, or lighter chicken dishes.
The Winemaking
Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette (30% each) with 10% Rolle (Vermentino). Made in a gravity-fed winery: destemmed, cold-macerated in steel, then aged on its lees for six months in old foudres and neutral barrels for texture without oaky flavour.
The Vineyards
Ten hectares of sandy, silty soils given over to white and rosé grapes, farmed without chemicals. Pruning, ploughing and harvesting follow the lunar calendar. Certified organic since 2022.
The Producer
Sébastien Vincenti runs this 38-hectare estate in Mazan, widely rated among the top two or three producers in the Ventoux. Despite the demand, his prices stay very fair.
